The former Deputy Governor of Katsina State, Alhaji Mannir Yakubu, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to His Excellency, Governor Malam Dikko Umar Radda, the people of Katsina State, and the entire Muslim Ummah on the auspicious occasion of Maulud Nabiy, which marks the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him).
Alhaji Mannir Yakubu described the Maulud as a special period for reflection on the life and teachings of the Prophet (SAW), who was sent by Allah as a mercy to mankind. He noted that the noble character of the Prophet, built on honesty, humility, tolerance, and compassion, remains a timeless example for all believers to emulate.
The former Deputy Governor used the occasion to call on the people of Katsina State and Nigerians at large to continue to offer prayers for lasting peace, unity, and progress in the state and the nation. He stressed that at a time of challenges, supplications to Allah and adherence to the Prophet’s teachings are essential for building a better and more harmonious society.
He further prayed for Governor Dikko Umar Radda, asking Allah to grant him wisdom, strength, and good health to lead Katsina State on the path of development and prosperity. He also prayed for Allah’s blessings upon the Muslim Ummah, urging them to renew their commitment to faith, love, and service to humanity.
Alhaji Mannir Yakubu wished all Muslims a peaceful and joyous Maulud celebration, and encouraged everyone to use the occasion to spread kindness, unity, and brotherhood in their communities.
